The UCLG Committee on Peripheral Cities, chaired by Patrick Jarry, Mayor of Nanterre (France), aims to facilitate the exchange of experience and practices, and develop a common approach by peripheral cities. The Committee focuses on the cities that are in a part of a metropolitan area, democratic governance of metropolises, a city for all and the sustainability issue in metropolitan areas.
