Visit to Fatih Municipality 31.07.2012

 On Tuesday, 24 July 2012, Mehmet DUMAN, UCLG-MEWA Secretary General, paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Mustafa DEMIR, Mayor of Fatih Municipality, a district of Istanbul where UCLG-MEWA Secretariat General is located. The meeting took place in Mayor’s office in the Fatih city hall. Parties discussed issues concerning UCLG-MEWA activities and possible involvement of Fatih Municipality in the UCLG affairs. On this occasion Mr. DUMAN presented UCLG-MEWA’s shield to the Mayor of Fatih and received a book published by the Fatih Municipality on the history of the disctric.
