UCLG-MEXICO-CULTURE-21 INTERNATIONAL AWARD WINNERS 25.06.2014

UCLG-Mexico-Culture 21- International Awards, which aims to honor the cities and persons who have made a difference for their contribution to culture, which is the backbone of sustainable development, have found their owners.

Belo Horizonte (Brazil) was awarded with her Arena De Cultura – Artistic and Cultural Education program project. Hannover (Germany) and Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) cities won the award in the category of honorable mention. Jury has awarded Manuel Castelss, an academician, and UN Human Rights Council Private Reporter Farida Shaheed in the category of ‘Individual Award’
