UCLG-MEWA MANAGEMENT VISITS CONSULATE OF BAHRAIN IN ISTANBUL 17.01.2014

United Cities and Local Governments Middle East and West Asia Section (UCLG-MEWA) Secretary General Mehmet DUMAN, accompanied by General Coordinator İhsan İKİZER and Project Officer Mohamed ALMAHLİ, visited Honorary Consulate of Bahrain in Istanbul. The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Ömer DURAN, on behalf of Honorary Consul Mr. Abdullah TİVNİKLİ.

UCLG-MEWA publications and invitation letters for Bahraini municipalities were presented to Mr. Ömer DURAN, during the visit which was realized in a friendly atmosphere. Mr. Secretary General provided information on the UCLG-MEWA activities. In the visit which was finalized with presenting a plaque and taking a souvenir photo, UCLG-MEWA officials stated that the Embassy of Bahrain in Ankara will also be visited in the soonest convenience.
