Secretary General of UCLG-MEWA Mr. Mehmet DUMAN paid an official visit to Honorary Consul General of Yemen in Istanbul 3.02.2014

On 29th of January 2014, the Secretary General of United Cities and Local Governments - Middle East and West Asia section (UCLG-MEWA), Mr. Mehmet DUMAN, paid an official visit to the Honorary Consulate General of Republic of Yemen in Istanbul.

Mr. DUMAN, accompanied by the General Coordinator, Mr. Ihsan IKIZER and Ms. Randa AL SABBAGH, presented to the Honorary Consul General, Mr. Muhammed AL-MASHARI UCLG-MEWA organization and its activities. The Secretary General of UCLG-MEWA presented also the Culture Working Group, recently established under UCLG-MEWA, and which meeting will take place in Gaziantep in March. Besides, he submitted invitation letters to the Governorates of Yemen to become members in UCLG-MEWA..
