Secretary General of UCLG-MEWA Mr. Mehmet DUMAN paid an official visit to Consul General of Saudi Arabia in Istanbul 22.01.2014

On 21^st of January 2014, Mr. Mehmet DUMAN, the Secretary General of United Cities and Local Governments Middle East and West Asia section, paid an official visit to the Consul General of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Musa'd bin Abdulmuhsin Ganawi, in Istanbul.

Mr. DUMAN, accompanied by Mr. İhsan İKİZER and Mr. Bilal SOUDA, presented UCLG-MEWA organization and its activities to the Consul General. He also submitted invitation letters to the provinces of Saudi Arabia to become members in UCLG-MEWA organization. Secretary General Mr. DUMAN noted that “UCLG-MEWA aims to embrace and strengthen all local and regional authorities under its roof; we would be pleased and honoured to have the Saudi Arabia provinces among our members from the Middle East and West Asia region.”

Finally, Mr. DUMAN presented UCLG-MEWA shield to the Consul General and extended his gratitude for his kind welcoming and hospitality.
