Report of the Fourth Meeting of Executive Board on 24 November 2014 23.12.2014

The Fourth Meeting of the AMF Executive Board was held on 24 November 2014 in Haikou, People's Republic of China.
 A day before the opening of the AMF General Assembly Meeting in Haikou with the participation of mayors and representatives from Baalbek, Baghdad, Bangkok, Dhaka, Gaziantep, Istanbul, Karachi, Karaj, Madripur, Mashhad, Qazvin, Qods, Qom, Seida and Tehran. Representatives from Metropolis and UCLG-MEWA also attended the meeting.

Pursuant to the adoption of the agenda, Mr. Mohammad Khodadadi, Secretary General of the AMF, briefed the Executive Board on the main developments of the Forum since it last met in November 2013 in Gaziantep. AMF Secretary General recalled the meeting of the work already done on the Bangkok Declaration mandate on establishment of the AMF Award and requested feedbacks from member cities.

The Board adopted the Forums annual budget and urged the Secretariat to communicate with member cities with membership fee arrears. The Board was also briefed on the candidacies for hosting the next meeting of the Executive Board and General Assembly.
