Participation in the Workshop on Administrative Decentralization (10-11 June 2011, Zouk Mikael, Lebanon) 27.04.2012

Upon the invitation of the UCLG Sub-Regional Office for Lebanon and Jordan, Mr. Engin DEMĠR (Councilor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipal Assembly) and Mr. Halil Ġbrahim YENĠGÜN (UCLG-MEWA Middle East Relations Officer) have participated in the thematic Workshop on Administrative Decentralization, organized under the Program for the Support of Lebanese Municipalities, held in Zouk Mikael in Lebanon on 10-11 June 2011. This thematic Workshop, being the concluding meeting in the series of ten seminars focusing on different aspects of the ongoing decentralization efforts in Lebanon, primarily aimed at elaborating upon and answering the questions of Lebanese local authorities in relation to the recent decentralization initiatives of the Lebanon Ministry of Interior and Municipalities.
