OPENING CHANNELS 19.02.2015
As UCLG-MEWA we are organizing a culture workshop with the title of ‘’Opening Channels’’ on 26 February 2015 in cooperation with Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research (SETA) whose aim is to initiate studies on the national, regional and international issues and release these studies to the public. Specialists from municipalities on the topics of culture-art will participate at the meeting in which many local authorities in our region showed their interest. The workshop will take place at the office of SETA in Eyüp, İstanbul, Turkey. ‘’Opening Channels’’ aims at improving cooperation opportunities among local authorities by creating contact networks. The key motivation of regulatory authorities is the conviction that thanks to integration between cultural events, the respect for human rights and the spread of peace will improve throughout the societies.
