The Metropolis  Training  Center  –  Middle East  Branch  in  conjunction  with  the Metropolis
International Institute will conduct 3 parallel training seminars in Mashhad, Iran from May 14-17, 2012.
We cordially invite your city to participate to these programs to share and gain experiences that can enable all of us to improve our cities.
In this 6th joint training program with the Metropolis, the following topics are going to be taught by well-known experts:
1. Public Education for Natural Disaster Preparedness
2.   Urban  Projects & their Socio-cultural Effects
3.   Mass Transit and Planning of BRT (Bus Rapid Transit System)
These training courses are going to be only in English and Farsi and are aimed towards urban decision-makers and city managers.
Since there is a seat limitation in the courses, each city can only register one participant for each of the workshops (see attached registration form).  The Mashhad Training Center is delighted to cover the accommodations including lodging (only on May 12 to May 17), breakfast and lunch and inner-city transportation.
