Lebanese Mayors paid an official visit to the Secretariat General of UCLG-MEWA 24.02.2014

On 24^th of February 2014, two Lebanese Mayors paid an official visit to the Secretary General of United Cities and Local Governments Middle East and West Asia (UCLG-MEWA), Mr. Mehmet DUMAN in Istanbul. During the visit, the Mayors of North of Lebanon, Mr. Khaled MOROABI, Mayor of Ouyoun Al Ghozlan and Mr. Bilal YAGHI, Mayor of Tashee, expressed their gratitude to the Secretary General for his kind welcoming and hospitality. Mr. DUMAN welcomed the new member of UCLG-MEWA, the Mayor of Tashee, and added that he is expecting to have more members from Lebanon.

Besides, the Secretary General of UCLG-MEWA invited the Lebanese Mayors to attend the Culture Working Group meeting which will take place on 14-15 March 2014 in Gaziantep, in Turkey.
