KAZAKHSTAN-TURKEY FRIENDLY CONCERTS WERE PERFORMED 13.02.2015

With the cooperation of Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) and TÜRKSOY, hosted by Bolu Municipality, Keçiören Municipality and Zeytinburnu Municipality a series of concerts was performed by Karagandı Tattımbet Kazakh Folk Music Orchestra. The first stop of the tour which brought Kazakh music to the music lovers in Turkey was performed in Eskişehir on 14 January 2015 while the other concerts took stage hosted by the members of TDBB which are Bolu, Keçiören and Zeytinburnu Municipalities.

In this framework, pieces from Kazakh and Turkish music met with audience on 16 January 2015 in Keçiören Yunus Emre Cultural Center with the participation of Mr. Mustafa Ak, Mayor of Keçiören and TDBB Deputy President; on 17 January 2015 in Bolu with the participation of Mr. Alaaddin Yılmaz, Mayor of Bolu and Member of TDBB Administrative Board; and on 18 January 2015 in Zeytinburnu Cultural Art Center with the participation of Mr. Murat Aydın, Mayor of Zeytinburnu and Vice President of TDBB.

In the orchestra which performed the pieces of important composers of Turkish World with the conduction of Kazakh maestro Ruslan Baymurzin, Kazakhstan State Artist Bibigül Tölenova-known as “Kazak Bulbul (Kazakh Nightingale)” took the stage as the star performer while Akkuu Dance Group, rhythm groups and popular artists got credits with their modern performances carrying the cultural features of Kazakhstan.
