Jordanian delegation from Ministry of Municipal Affairs paid an official visit to Secretariat General of UCLG-MEWA 18.07.2012

Jordanian delegation from Ministry of Municipal Affairs was head by Advisor to Minister of Municipal Affairs; Dr. Atef RAWAHENAH paid an official visit to Secretariat General of United Cities and Local Governments Middle East and West Asia in Istanbul, on 11 July 2012, on strengthening of cooperation among local governments in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

During the visit, Secretary General extended open invitation to Jordanian Local Governments to be active member in UCLG-MEWA and on the occasion of this visit Mr. RAWAHENAH presented his gratitude to the Secretary General for his kind welcoming and hospitality.

Secretary General Mr. DUMAN also said that “UCLG-MEWA aims to embrace and strengthen all local and regional authorities under its roof; we would be pleased and honored to have the cities of Jordan among our prominent members from the MEWA region, along with a number of other cities from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.”
