General Secretary of UCLG-MEWA Mr. Mehmet DUMAN paid an official visit to Honorary Consul of Yemen Republic in Istanbul 6.07.2012

General Secretary of UCLG-MEWA Mr. Mehmet DUMAN paid an official visit to Honorary Consul of Yemen Republic in Istanbul Mr. Mohamed ALMASHARI, on 28 June 2012, on strengthening of cooperation among local governments in the Yemen Republic.

During the visit, Secretary General submitted invitation letters addressing local governments such as Aden, Alhodaida, Sanaa and  Taiz to H.E Honorary Consul of Yemen Republic and on the occasion of this visit Secretary General presented a plaque to H.E Honorary Consul Mr. Mohamed ALMASHARI.

Secretary General Duman also said that “UCLG-MEWA aims to embrace and strengthen all local and regional authorities under its roof; we would be pleased and honored to have the cities of Yemen Republic among our prominent members from the MEWA region, along with a number of other cities from Yemen Republic.”
