GENERAL DIRECTOR OF THE TURKISH RED CRESCENT VISITED UCLG-MEWA 22.01.2014

Dr. Mehmet GÜLLÜOĞLU, General Director of Turkish Red Crescent, visited Mr. Mehmet DUMAN, Secretary General of United Cities and Local Governments Middle East and West Asia Section (UCLG-MEWA), on 14 January 2014. Mr. DUMAN conveyed his wishes of success to the General Director who has just come into office, and his gratitude for the visit. The potential cooperation initiatives between the two organizations were discussed during the visit, particularly the project on Syrian refugees, for which UCLG-MEWA continues its preparations; and it was decided that project officers of both organizations would come together to discuss the issue in the convenient soon.
