FUTURE OF THE CITY, CITY OF THE FUTURE URBAN TRANSFORMATION SUMMITS 7.08.2014
“FUTURE OF THE CITY, CITY OF THE FUTURE URBAN TRANSFORMATION SUMMITS” WILL BE LAUNCHED IN ISTANBUL ON 18TH OF SEPTEMBER, 2014, WITH THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT AND URBAN PLANNING OF TURKISH REPUBLIC AND WORLD ACADEMY FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND DEMOCRACY (WALD).
The first meeting of the “Future of the City, City of the Future Urban Transformation Summits” which bring together representatives of local governments and relevant sectors to discuss about different topics and provided solutions of urban transformation which is the largest governmental project in the recent years of Turkey. The Summit will be held in Istanbul, on 18th of September, 2014 by Event Ayna.
The summit which aims to create social awareness and provide consciousness about what have happened in the last two years, will evaluate the economical and social dimension that have emerged in conjunction with the effects of this process in the cities.
“Future of the City, City of the Future Summits” will be leading program that will gather local government representatives, construction sector, real estate developers, suppliers and resellers, land owners and flat owners, representatives of finance sector and academicians as a speakers, The programs targets not only one city of Turkey, but all the urbanizing cities of Turkey to solve problems and provide solutions.
What is intended through urban transformation is to create “Cities of the Future”. Planning urban transformations and preparing “Future of the City” are the duties of local governments. Future of the City, City of the Future Summit will light up the future with precious participants and their unique ideas and we would like to see you among us.
