DEVRİM ŞAVLI WAS THE GUEST OF 10th LOCAL GOVERNMENT TALK 30.01.2015

Devrim Şavlı, Programme Management Expert at East Marmara Development Agency (MARKA),  who was the speaker in the UCLG-MEWA 10^th Local Government Talk held on 30 January 2015, in UCLG-MEWA Secretariat General in Sultanahmet, İstanbul/Turkey, made his speech with the title of ‘’Local and Regional Development’’. In his speech Mr. Şavlı talked about the processes of development programmes, support office services in 5 cities which MARKA is responsible of, the history of development agencies, the problem of ‘’practicability’’ in development plans, and the important factors in project writing. After the presentation of a plaque to Mr. Şavlı by Dr. İhsan İKİZER, UCLG-MEWA General Coordinator, the event ended with a refreshment reception.
