 A LOCAL GOVERNMENT DELEGATION FROM MOSUL (IRAQ) VISITED UCLG-MEWA SECRETARIAT GENERAL

Mosul Deputy Governor Mr. Ameen FANASH and a delegation including sub-governors and local government managers  have visited UCLG-MEWA office on 16  March 2012 and were informed on UCLG-MEWA initiatives and activities.  Furthermore, Mosul and local authorities in the region were invited to join UCLG. In response of that, Mr. FANASH emphasized that UCLG-MEWA is very important for local authorities in Middle East and he also described that UCLG-MEWA would offer great opportunities for Iraqi local authorities.
