Visit of Abant Platform to UCLG-MEWA 9.12.2013
On Friday 21st of November Mr. Tolga B. AKSOY, Deputy Secretary General of Abant Platform paid a visit to our Secretary General in order to prepare the participation of UCLG-MEWA in the meeting entitled Women’s Perspectives on UN Post 2015 Development Agenda, to be held in Istanbul in May-June 2014.
Abant Platform is an emanation of the Journalists and Writers Foundation (GYF) which was founded in 1994. The organization aims to promote democracy through meetings allowing dialogues between different parts of the Turkish society and from all around the world. On 31 May- 1 June 2014 Abant Platfrom plan to organize a meeting on the Women’s Perspectives on UN Post 2015 Development Agenda. In this regard they would like to invite UCLG-MEWA and WALD to participate in the organization of a parallel session.
