Announcement on the Participation in the 2nd Guangzhou Award 28.10.2014

The 2^nd Guangzhou Award was closed for application on 31^st July, 2014. With the enthusiastic participation and strong support from the global cities, the 2^nd Guangzhou Award embraces registrations of 259 initiatives from 177 cities of 57 countries/regions, among which 208 initiatives from 159 cities of 55 countries/regions submitted effective applications.

At present, the preparation for the 2^nd Guangzhou Award assessment is undergoing. The Technical Committee Meeting is tentatively scheduled to take place at the end of September 2014, which will select 30 deserving initiatives and 15 short-listed initiatives from all the submissions; the Jury Meeting is to be held in November 2014, which will decide on the 5 winners from the 15 short-listed initiatives. The Guangzhou International Urban Innovation Conference, including the award ceremony, is to be held from 27^th to 29^thNovember 2014.
